Mitigation Plans & Habitat Creation

Mitigation Plans & Habitat Creation If your site has legally protected species present, you may well need a mitigation strategy to safeguard them as your development proceeds. This strategy document needs approval from national agencies and local authorities - and then needs actioning on the ground. Middlemarch Environmental’s team of ecologists are there to help you at each stage, and for sites both large and small.

Mitigation Plans & Habitat CreationFor some developments, providing a few bat boxes may be all you need. In other cases a whole new ‘bat house’ may be needed. Equally the creation of large scale habitats - especially wetlands - can provide creative ecological solutions to both drainage issues and protected species.
