Survey and Assessment

ecological surveying ecological surveying

You have to start at the beginning: what is already there. Middlemarch Environmental’s surveying services begin with a complete ecological investigation, going further into water and soils if required. Where necessary, we can carry out site investigations on all legally-protected species.

Once you know what is there, you need to know its importance and relevance. For instance, does that tree matter? How can the development’s impact be minimised? Working with your team, we can assess a wide range of environmental impacts and examine the feasibility of your project.
